It could also be called antique cellar for
its characteristic architecture of bows, its arcades and its distinctiveness
that summarize
the experience of the centuries. With its 3000m2, 900 of
them built in 1993 and
enlarged in 2003, at 8m under the soil, 2 meters
of gravel on top of the vaults isolate and keep constant the temperature
(13-14°C) as well as
the humidity throughout the year, this is ideal for ageing in barrels (more
than 800) and in bottles.
Inside the cellar a museum of wine-making has been
mounted ( photo
gallery ), tradition and culture of the wine conserved in the memories
for the young, who are more and more interested in this art.
